Bargaining Update
February 27, 2007608 days without a new contract
The bargaining teams for the Association and the employer met for three hours this morning. Our team requested that the employer provide compete details on the reformed salary grid mentioned in the employer’s February 26 offer of settlement. The employer agreed to this and requested that the teams meet again between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. today. The additional afternoon bargaining session was spent discussing other elements of the employer’s counter offer from yesterday. More bargaining is scheduled for Wednesday (all morning and early afternoon, and possibly a new time in early evening), Thursday (all day), and Friday (all day).
